Dr. Lynn McEwan
 A Californian by birth, Dr Lynn McEwan graduated with High Honors from the prestigious University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1976. Dr. McEwan served for five years in the US Army Veterinary Corps. Three of those years were spent in Belgium as the NATO veterinarian. Before leaving the military he completed 1 year of residency in Laboratory Animal Medicine and Pathology. Dr. McEwan was associated in a Lancaster practice for 3 years before taking over Palmdale Veterinary Hospital in 1984. During 1997 Palmdale Veterinary Hospital was doubled in size and completely remodeled, making it the Antelope ValleyĘs premier Veterinary facility. From time to time you may have watched Dr. McEwan on TV. For over 10 years he has appeared on Jones Intercable as their local veterinarian informing the public on pet health issues. More recently he has been seen on the Animal Planet Channel. Although dogs and cats were his first love, Dr. McEwan has developed special interests in Birds, Reptiles and Pocket Pets. He is a member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians, and various local, state and national Veterinary Associations. Dr. McEwan is active in his church, and hobbies include computers, vegetable gardening, wooden model ship building, and singing with his wife Marla in a well-known choir, The Southern California Mormon Choir and has even sung with the Boston Pops Orchestra! He appreciates having you as one of his clients and makes decisions for your pet as though it was one of his own.
Dr. Jeffrey Conrad
Dr. Jeffrey Conrad graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in May, 2001. Prior to receiving veterinary training, Dr. Conrad served in the U.S. Air Force for over 13 years as an electronics engineering officer. His tour of duty included 2 assignments at Edwards AFB, and included work on programs such as the B-1B bomber, F-15 fighter, and Titan IV launch vehicle.Dr. Conrad and his wife Ann have lived in the Antelope Valley, off and on, for over 9 years and plan on settling here permanently. Dr. ConradĘs special interests include exotic feline medicine--he and his wife both volunteer at the Feline Conservation Center in Rosamond. This facility, which is open for public tours, is dedicated to the protection and preservation of endangered felines, such as tigers, leopards, and jaguars. Dr. ConradĘs other interests include light aircraft flying, radio controlled modeling, skiing, and golf. Dr. Conrad and Ann have no children, but they do have several pets including 2 dogs (Gabrielle and Joxer), a tortoise (Henry), and (of course) several cats. Dr. Conrad strongly believes that keeping pets healthy requires a close, cooperative effort between pet owners and their veterinarian. He looks forward to meeting with owners and helping them care for their pets through better awareness, education, and preventative medicine.
